The instrument works together with rapid disposable thermocouple probes, also known as rapid immersion temperature probes. Operators simply install a new probe, immerse it into the molten metal for several seconds, and the temperature is displayed immediately. After measurement, the probe is replaced with a new one for the next test.
The CYY-W330 supports temperature measurement of molten iron, molten steel, molten copper, molten aluminum and most non-ferrous alloys. Depending on the selected rapid thermocouple type, the measuring range can reach approximately 2000°C.
The heavy-duty stainless-steel lance provides excellent strength and heat resistance, while the rechargeable battery allows continuous measurements throughout the working shift.
